The French Ministry of Education and Youth and the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma have announced that the César des Lycéens 2022 has been awarded to the film directed by Cédric Jimenez and produced by Hugo Sélignac, Bac Nord.
The César des Lycéens 2022 was awarded by 1,866 final-year students from 84 classes in general, technological and vocational high schools throughout mainland France, England and Mayotte, chosen by the French Ministry of Education and Youth.
Like the vote for Academy members, it took place between Tuesday February 1 and Friday February 25, 2022 at 4pm, thus avoiding any possible influence between the two electoral bodies.
The envelope containing the result was handed over and opened under bailiff supervision on Monday February 28 by Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of National Education and Youth, and Véronique Cayla, President of the Académie des Arts et Technique du Cinéma.
The César des Lycéens will be awarded on Monday March 7, 2022 at 2pm in the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Sorbonne, during a meeting-debate with over 400 high school students who took part in the vote, in the presence of Cédric Jimenez, Jean-Michel Blanquer and Véronique Cayla.
